Our aim here at The Ship & Mitre in Liverpool is to offer the consumer the best quality and selection of cask ales and imported beers in the land.

The Ship & Mitre, an original 1930's Art Deco building, is viewed as Merseyside's premier Real Ale pub. Each and every week brings new deliveries, often just one barrel of a particular brew is delivered to the pub. Check 'The Board' each time you visit for our current list. Be quick. As old barrels empty, new barrels mature. 'The Board' changes several times every day.

In addition to our cask conditioned real ales we have a huge range of beers from around the world. From German pilsners, Belgian fruit and Trappist beers to draught beers from the Czech Republic, our portfolio is regularly updated as new beers become available to us.

BEER FESTIVALS

One of our main features is a regular beer festival in the pub each quarter. Typically we have sixty ales and four ciders, both on draught and from 'stillage'. For further details see our pub news and events page.
