About this deal

First, clean the leather thoroughly before refreshing the colour or the application of care products with our COLOURLOCK Mild Leather Cleaner.

If you're repairing an area of colour loss smaller than an A5 piece of paper, then you should clean the area with Alcohol Cleaner before applying any colour. Our leather repair pigments are ideal for repairing damage such as scuffs, scratches, worn or faded pigmented leather.

If you are new to this work, phrases like leather colourant kit, matt finishes and finding the right pigment might sound confusing, but we can help. Our Leather Paint is based on the same leather restoration technology we use and so is extremely flexible and strong once applied. Durability and Flexibility Ensure that the leather paint you choose is formulated to withstand the demands of daily wear and tear. In all circumstances, we recommended fully cleaning the entire item of leather that you want to repair. Foams clean the leather more efficiently than liquid agents, the consumption is considerably smaller, and the leather does not become wet, which could otherwise become hard after drying.

These are the starting items in a good repair kit, and if you need guidance on which kit is bets for you, or you want tips on how dye should be applied correctly, we can help. COLOURLOCK Fluid Leather is a coloured filler for deeper scratches and gives a better finish as opposed to normal white fillers. Important: Apply the COLOURLOCK Leather Protector a few hours after completing the cleaning, repairing and colouring the leather. When tu-tone leather wears it shows the lighter colour underneath making it look worn and unbalanced.Cut out a small piece of the original leather from a hidden area and adjust its shape according to the hole.

As water-based products are easy to clean, you may simply wash the gun with warm water or thinners if necessary. In the event of extreme soiling, a larger amount of Cleaner might be necessary, but this is very rare.So next time your leather starts to fade, don't stress - just grab a leather dye kit and get to work!
