About this deal

Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who've long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren't sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. This is London - INSIDE OUT is delightfully inventive, funny and touching and, surreptitiously, a great way of helping kids get a handle on all those inexplicable feelings. I found the character of Sadness a real drag, to the point that she dominated the film and brought it down. With Fear, Disgust and Anger freaking out at the controls, the film could proceed down a goofy route with Riley going out of character. By knowing where the reviewer's biases lie on the film's subject matter, one can read the review with the right mindset.

My daughter who is 3 wanted to go home half way through(she loved The Minnions movie) Most of the Pixar movies are enjoyable for adults as well as kids but this seems to miss both audiences. The version of this DVD will only work in DVD players in the United States, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Central America, parts of South America and some other countries. of the 5 reviewers here to date were not overly impressed with this much-praised movie, and I tend to agree with them.It certainly makes one want to watch the Japanese version, to see if the translated dialogue takes on the tone of the voiceover here.

The final piece is "Mind Candy" (14:26), a seemingly random collection of clips, some of which seem like animation tests, while others are full-fledged bits focused on the different emotions (and are quite enjoyable. The idea that everyone has the same, if personalized emotional set-up in their heads is utilized effectively for laughs, as are several concepts drawn from psychological theory, including the effects of abstract thought, as are the way the emotions interact with each other and Riley's life (like the headlines on Anger's newspapers and Disgust's general. The effect to the emotions is worse, as Sadness takes hold, and then her and Joy end up lost in Riley's memories, leaving Anger, Disgust and Fear in control. Like all great Pixar films, Inside Out trafficks in humor, adventure and, most memorably, heart-wrenching emotion, the kind that's particularly difficult to deal with for anyone with a child of their own (especially if that child is a girl like Riley.Although Joy, Riley’s main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school. A quick peek at some of the emotions cut from the movie gives way to an illustrated discuss of the design effort on the core characters.
